Rugby Football Union, wired on Thursday night" Owing to the bad state of the weather, the team cannot leave here on Friday as intended, but will leave on Sunday. weather permitting, and play Gisborne on Monday ” The local Union have replied saying that if the Napier team cannot come on Monday the match had better be postponed this year, A practice match will take place this afternoon between the representative fifteen, viz , Butene, Skeet, Murphy, Rua, Mat-? thews, Fisher, Marshall, I yanar, Loemb, Crawford, Allen, Hutchinson, Hepburn, DeCosta, and' Nisbet, and a team to bo picked on the ground. Players are requested to roll up In force so that a good practice may be given the reps.
