A Complaint.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib. —Not long ago one of our oldest pioneers was summonsed and fined for causing an obstruction by leaving a dray on the road, between Kaiteratahi and Mangatu. Now at this present time there is a very serious obstruction on the same road, consisting ot stacks ot firewood piled up on the roadfide, which is, in my opinion, dangerous to traffic. lam informed that tbs firewood in question belongs to a County Councillor, However, I think the matter should. meet with the attention ot the authorities, ae thers has already been at least one accident through the obstruction, and the obstructor, whoever he may be, should be made to rectify the wrong, as was the caee with the unfortunate proprietor of the betoremsntloned bullock dray.—l am, Ac., Maxoaic,
