past night. Yesterday was observed as a partial holiday, most of lhe shopa and offices, except the Banks, boing closed from mid-day, while a good many closed all day. The Trades and Labor Unions assembled at ten o’clock st the drill shed, and ms.rchad in procession to tbe recrea'ion ground, where sports were held, everything passing off most successfully.
