AUSTRALIAN.
The miners at the Great Northern Company's colliery have resumed work, paying no heed to the instructions of the executive to wait for the result of a conference that is being held. A new Ministry has been formed in Victoria, with Me Munro as Premier and Treasurer. Tho unions in connection with the furniture trade have declined to continue tho levy in aid of the strikers, hut they will vote the amount of levy to the relief of wives and families in distress.
