AUCKLAND RACES.
The Cap was won by Crackshot, get ilb; Hilda, Bst 101 b, second ; Cissy, Bst gib, tbiM Dado, Btrephon, St. Andrew, and Leorina »lso ran. The winner started favorite. As Soon as the horses had settled into tlsir strides St. Andrew assumed the lead, w.th leorina next, and Cissy third, Doda, Hilra, and Crackshot next. St. Andrew was leading by three lengths passing the stand, whae Crackshot had run into third place a length bemud Leorina, while Cissy, Hilda, Duds, and Btrephon were next in compact order, though the latter appeared to be already pesten. As they ran along the back of the bourse St. Andrew began to falter, and died away at the cutting, where Leorina took Command, bat a few strides further on Crackshot, smothering everything else in the race, ran into first position, and staying oS a rust* by Hilda in the straight, won easily by a length and a half, Cissy an excellent third. Then came Dudu, Leorina, Btrephon, and Bt. Andrew in ihe order named. Time, fimin 30jseo, Dividend £4. Cissy, Antelope, and Memorandum were the Only starters in the Trial Stake?, and came in the order named. The winner paid £1 3s 94 and £1 ss. Label beat the Workman by a i head. In the Great Nor.hern Foal Stakes, Brown Bess, Brigand, Boie, and Bosefeldt also ran. Boeefeldt got the worst of a poor Start. Dividends £8 7a and £3 6a, Batyr, Orlando, and Nap were the three placed horses in the hurdles, the winner paying £22 and £23 9s. The Baron beat Beprissl, rani, Loofioear, Leoiamie, Bay King, and Cambria in ths Bai way Handicap, paying £4 5< and £3 187. Dishonor won the Nursery Handi.fap, paying £410« and £3 13e Aeper won the Maiden Steeple, and Leoiautis the Christmas Handicap.
