WANGANUI REPRESENTATIVE WINS THE CHAMPIONSHIP. (SPECIAL TO THE STAND ABD ) Napier, last night. The championship was firm! thia afternoon in Ills drenching rain. Webster, of Auckland, was leading this morning, but in the second range of the aggregate matib be made a wretched score, f turteen, and got sixteen behind Kruse, of Wanganui. In the next seven shots Webster picked up six poin g again, and with only ten shots to go he w»s ten points behind. He made a splen- id score. 42, and Kruse only got 34, but Kruse won by two pointe, Webster second. King (Oamaru) third, Perrv (Alexandra) fourth, Henderson (Auckland) fit h Kruse also won the Union Cup, for which Henderson tied him. The Auckland representatives were very fortunate, winning a total ot £256, of which Webster gets £64. Tiffen, of Gieborne, ehot well all through the meeting, and being in tbe highest fifty aggregates he competed io the final.
