A Lady on Racing.
;TO THE EDITOR.]
Sib,—l am glad to see ladies are again to be admitted free to the course to see the Toroa Steeplechase on Easter Monday, I have been to see two of the Steeplechases, and they were capital fun. The view of tbe race from the stand was excellent, every jimp being clearly visible, and I do hope it will be fine for the next races. I see someone was writing against this meeting in Tuesday .morning's paper, signing himself ” True Sport. ” I think, Mr Editor, he ought to Have signed himself “ Tonic,” because his letter reminds me of dark and while ! I am also looking forward to the St. Patrick’s Day Sports, The committee have gone to a lot of trouble to get them up, and great credit is due to them; they are sure to be well patronised by us girls.*—Yours noerely, Cow.aks Daws,
