Trip through the Urewera Country.
A VENTUBESOMH LADY’ ACCOMPANIES THE PARTY. Auckland, lari: night. There arrived y-ste day at Rotorua, Guide McDonald and party, comprising Mr and Mrs Fowler, Count Wuohtmaiater, and Mr Ballon, from a fortnight's trip through the Urewera country. The party left Napier for Wairos, near Gisborne, staying at Wairoa a day to secure horses fiom the natives. The party mat with no opposition. When tho party left Napier there w»a some anxiety expressed about a lady attempting the journey.
