Hospital Trustees.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the above was held last night. Present : Captain Tucker (Chairman), Messrs Watson, Lucas, Coleman, and C. A. Brown. The monthly report showed—remaining from last month, 14 ; admitted since 9 ; discharged, 10 ; remaining at present, 13. One old patient was discharged, his case being considered chronic. The work of paparing and renovating the interior of the Hospital building was deferred till spring. It was agreed to plough one of the paddocks, and lay it down in grass. On the recommendation of the Visiting Committee it was decided to erect a chimney in the cottage at the rear cf the main building. The Treasurer reported a credit balance of £lO9 18s. Accounts amounting to £57 15s lOd were passed for payment, Messrs Brownj and Coleman were appointed a Visiting Committee for the ensuing month. Tenders were received for 100 feet of hose. Mr J. W. Smith’s tender, being the lowest, was accepted.
