FOOTBALL.

The team to represent Turanganui against the Taraheru team will be selected from the following Backs — Masterson, Matthews, Hepburn, Branson, Burn?, and Wado. Forwards—Robinson, Loomb, Nisbett, Leslie, Crawford, Forrsst, Sharrifi, DeCosta, Featon, Hope, Eaton, Skipwortb, Poawillo, Morrison, and Stevenson. The above players are requested to roll up for practice to-day. A meeting of the Committee of the Gisborne Football Club was held last night. Fresh rules were drawn up, as authorised at the general meeting, Tuesdays and Thursdays were appointed as practice days. The following players were selected to go into training for the Cup matches Alien, W. Arthur, Colebourn, Bourn, Dods, Fisher, Huughey, Lewis, Lysaar, Langford, Mowat, M’Donald, Murphy (2), Piripi, Rees (2), Skeet, Staite, Watson, Wildish, McPhail, Scott, Tutarie, and W. Branson. A meeting of the Turanganui Football Club takes place this evening.
