FOOTBALL.
The contest between the Turanganui and Gisborne clubs takes place next Saturday. Great interest is being taken in the match, as it is expected to be the hardest fought game of the season. The following will represent the Gisborne Football Club in the match Backs—Herewina, Skeet, Staite, Murphy (2), Rees, and Fisher ; forwards —Lysnar. Colebourne, Hemi Kara, Langford, Dods, Lewis, Mowatt, and Nikora; emergencies—Watson Wildish, and Piripi. The following team has been selected to represent Turanganui in the Cup match aiinst Gisborne next Saturday :—Full-, back—Featon ; three-quarters—Branson, Matthews, Hepburn ; halves — Burns, Maude, Loomb; forwards—Hope, Robinson, Forest, Crawford, Sherri#, llisbet, Leslie, Eeaton.
