There was a good attendance last night, when the discussion on Socialism was continued, Mr Stafford taking the lead pn the negative side. Messrs File, Sigley, Hopper, Scott, Pierce, Johnson, Sweet, and Sievwright also spoke on the subject. Mr Birrell made a telling reply, and moved that State Socialism would be conducive to the happiness and well-being of the people. Mr Pierce seconded the motion, which was carried unanimously. Mr Sigley undertook to start a discussion at next meeting on “ The unemployed difficulty, and its solution.” f Votes of thanks wereiiaccorded to Mr ftirreiUiid Mr ftUfford;
