Holy Trinity Church.

The annual meeting of parishioners was held on Tuesday evening, the Rev. Canon Fox presiding. Mr Greenwood submitted the annual report, which showed that the Church had been enabled to make a reduction of/145 12s in liabilities. The report advocated the payment of pew rents in advance. The Incumbent's pastoral letter spoke hopefully of church work, and exhorted still greater attention to the’spiritual needs. In both reports mention was made of the assiduous way in which Mr Davies had worked for the Church, and he was warmly thanked. The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing year : Incumbent’s Churchwarden, Mr DeLautour, and Parishoners’, Mr Davies. Vestry : Messrs W. Morgan, Pettie, Gray, Dunlop, Greenwood, Akroyd, Humphreys, Gold-Smith, and Kempthorne. Auditors : Messrs F. T. Morgan and Piesse.
