Sudden Death..
Yesterday morning an elderly man named Herbert Percival died rather suddenly at the Settlers’ Hotel. He had been ailing for some time, having suffered greatly from asthma. The police do not consider it necessary to hold an inquest, as the doctor has certified as to the cause of death. Deceased was well known in Poverty Bay, being for a number of years employed in the bricklaying business.
