HIGH WATER-SUN RISES AND SETS
ARRIVALS. The locally-owned topsail schooner Awaroa, Captain Urqnhart, left Mercury Bay on Monday last, and after a fine weather passage along the coast she reached here on Thursday morning. The steamer Dingadee, from Auckland via East Coast ports, arrived in the roadstead at 6 a.m. yesterday. Passengers— Mrs Steel, Miss Shields, Mr Jorrat, and six steerage. DEPARTURES. The Dingadee steamed on to Napier at 9.20 yesterday morning, taking — Messrs Dougherty, Lysnar, Wall, Moody, Havell, Defries, and Moor. The topsail schooner Marmion, Captain D, Rae, sailed yesterday for Auckland, She took 165 sacks maize, 236 sacks barley, shipped by the Loan Company. IMPORTS Per Awaroa—2o tons coal, 37,202 ft timber, Clayton and Sawyer; 5 tons coal, 2 tons lime, and a few sundry pkgs. Per Dingadee—3l pkgs, 2 cases, Common, Shelton and Co.; 5 pkgs, Law; 4 pkgs, Foster; 10 pkgs, DeCosta ;13 pkgs, O’Con■ell; 7 pkgs, Townley; 32 pkgs, Adairs 9 pkgtf. Kennedy and Evans ; 2 pkgs, Cooperative Society; 2 pkgs, Williams and Kettle; 1 pkg, Morgan; 22 pkgs, Clayton and Sawyer; 1 pkg. Whinray; 3 pkgs, Pettie and Harper; 1 pkg, Lewis; 1 pkg, Hospital. EXPORTS. i . Per Dingadee—23 sacks grass seed. '' The schooner Waiapu may now arrive here at any hour from Auckland. At noon to-day the steamer Manapouri should get away from Auckland. She is due here to-morrow afternoon, and leaves for southern ports, Hobart and Melbourne in the evening. The steamer Botomahana leaves Wellington this afternoon, Napier on Sunday, and arrives in Gisborne at daylight on Monday. She proceeds on to Auckland, Russell and Sydney at 7. The coastal steamer Australia left Napier at 6 last evening, and reaches here early this morning. She leaves for coast ports and Auckland at 9.
