For Napier, Wellington, South, Manapouri, Saturday, 7.30 pm. For Auckland, Australian Colonies, Baratonga, Tonga, Samoa, and Tahiti, Te Kapo, Monday, Bam. Letters bearing a late fee of Id will be received at the P.O. for 15 minutes after the advertised time of closing seaborne mails. Registered and Parcel mails close one hour prior to the ordinary mail. LOCAL MAILS. For Waimata Valley, every Monday, at 1.80 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne everv Monday, at 10.30 a.m. For Te Baraka and Whatatutu, every Tuesday at 2 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday at 11 a.m. For Wairengaokuri, Tiniroto, Frasertown and Wairoa, every Monday, at 8 a.m., and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday, at 5 p.m. For Makaraka, Waerenga-a-hika and Ormond, daily at 2.30 p.m,, and arrive at Gisborne daily at 11 a.m. For Te Arai Bridge, Patutabi and Murewai every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at p.m., and arrive at Gisborne on the same days, at 11 a.m. For Pakarae, Tologa Bay, Tokomaru, Tuparos, Akuaku, Port Awanui, Waipiro Bay, Bangitukia, Hicks Bay, and Te Araroa every Friday at 7 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday at 6 p.m. The posting pillar boxes! in Gladstone Road are now cleared puctually at 8 a.m., 12.30 p.m., and one hour before the closing of seaborne mails, with the exception of any Monday 6 a.m. mail, when the box will be cleared at 6 30 p.m. the previous Saturday.
