Turanganui Rowing Club.

The annual meeting of the Gisborne Junior Rowing Club was held last night. The report and balance sheet were read and adopted, and it was stated that the boats had been repaired by Mr Burns. Mr T. Morgan was elected President, Mr Maun Vice-President, Mr Spurdie Captain, Mr P. Reid DeputyCaptain, Mr F. Miller Secretary and Treasurer, Mr Lunn Audi'or, and Messrs W. Miller, J. Morell, and H. Johnston as the Committee. F Jeune, H. Sandlant, W. Taylor, M. Wade, T. Burch, K. Humphreys, and W. Steele were elected active members, and Messrs Dalrymple and F. Param honorary members. The subscription for the former class is 10s each, and for the latter ss. I was resolved to change the mme of the Club to “ The Turangauui Rowing Cub.” It was decided to make the costume black and white cap, silver piping and tassel ; singlet, with initials on right side of breast, and dark trousers.
