SPORTING.

AT THE PARK. After breakfast on Thursday last I visited the Park course, and was surprised at seeing so many horses at work, it being evident that the coming season is going to be a most interesting one. The first to make a move were Avis and Deceiver, who completed two circuits—the lit'er one at good pace. The old horse went along gamely enough while the excitement lasted, but could hardly hobble off the ocures afterwards. Of course owners and trainers know best, but I hold my own opinion as to what might be or what is not kindness to so good a servant in former years. Dinah, and a chestnut Colt by Daniel O’Rourke, out of Lizotte, were treated to a like distance, finishing freely. Little Joe was sent round tbres timas at halt pace. This horse is miking rapid imorovement and should show up well in tbs spring. Assassin did walking exercise only, On Friday Duadine was the flrat to work, and the old mare looked as fresh as ever, evidently being thoroughly well.
