Tbia change will give defined districts to ihe Judges, who will no longer, as heretofore, be peripatetic officers, but will have official charge of the native causes which may arise In the plac« B where they are appointed to reside. b'O decision has been arrived at as to the par Icular names and jurisdiction of the Judges Of the Native Lands Court in the future. It is affi.med that the Hon. P. Buckley will shortly resign and proceed to England f or rather Ire’and It is eaid that he has been offered support for a seat in the House of Commons in the Home Ru’e in’ereat. Hla brother, Dr Buckland, of San Francisco, U said to have received a similar offer.
