HIGH WATEB—SUN BISES AND SETS
ABBIVALS. The Union Company’s steamer Dingadee arrived yesterday moraine, from Wellington and Napier. Passengers: Mesdames Caro and Morris, Messrs Cameron, Mitchell, Adeane, and four steerage. The topsail schooner Awaroa, Captain Urquhart, left Tairau on Tuesday afternoon, and arrived in the bay at 4 pm. on Thursday. She brings 24,137 ft timber for Clayton and Co.; and 32,521 ft timber for W. O. Sheet. The Manapouri, from Sydney and Auckland, left the latter port at 2 on Thursday afternoon, and arrived’here at 2 30 p.m. yesterday, after a fine trip down. Passengers: Mr and Mrs Nolan, nurse, and one child, Mr and Mrs McQueen, Miss Jones, Messrs Crawford, Hough, Brown, Williamson, McGowan, Sheen, Begg, Young, Barr, Kemp, Captain Chrisp, and three natives. The steamer Australia came into the bay at 5 last evening, from the North, bringing —Mesdames McGuire and Bennett, Miss Darlington, Messrs Sefton, McCraney, and two Maoris. DEPASTURES. The Dingadee steamed on North yesterday morning, taking—Mr Arthur. The Manaponri resumed her voyage South last night, taking—Mrs Arundel and four children, Mrs Palmer, Misses Wiggins and, Holroyd, Messrs Rees. Oatridge, Waller, Bradley, Simmons, Arundel, Palmer, Allen, Whitmore, Barker, McDonald, Ashworthy, Forest, Cunningham, and Judge Barton. The Australia went on to Napier late last bight, taking—-Miss Chissell. IMPORTS. Per Dingadee— 8 oases, 120 hags, 50 saoka potatoes, Common, Shelton and Co.; 10 oases, 20 boxes, Dunlop and Bourke ; 1 case. Whinray ; 4 pkgs, F. Hall; 1 pkg, Loan Co.; 1 case, 20 bdls wire, Burns and Co.; 50 pieces timber, 1 case, Humphreys and Dsvya 4 boxes, Townley; 6 cases, 2 pkgs. Maguire' and Co,; 60 pkgs, Lee and Ormond ; 1 bull, 10 pkgs, 1 horse rake, 2 shafts, Williams and Kettle Per Manapouri—l sack oysters, Budd; 1 case, Pettie and Harper; 2 pkgs, Townley ; 1 case, MOrean ; 1 piece timber, Kennedy and Evans • 3 junctions, 12 elbows, Clayton and Oo.; 1 sack oysters, DeCosts. EXPORTS. Per Dingadee—42 hides, L. and M.A, Co. ; 0 hides, Common, Shelton and Co. TELEGRAPHIC. Auckland, Thursday. Arrived—Ohau, at 2.30 a.m., from Gisborne. The Waihora has arrived at Wellington from Sydney, with a Brindisi mail, which will arrive in Gisborne on Tuesday morning. The steamer Te Kapo has been detained down South, and does not get away from Lyttelton till to-night, Wellington probably on Sunday, Napier on Monday, and is at present fixed to reach here on the following morning, but it is very doubtful whether she can get here by then. She only goes as far as Auckland and Bussell this trip.
