A Waipawa junior football team journeyed to Havelock North o.i Saturday afternoon and played a friendly game against the HavelocK juniors. The visitors proved the winners by 6 points to 3 after a ve:y interesting game. The Hastings St. Matthew’s Church choir under tho conductorship of Mr 0. Spinney, will render Gaul’s Pas sion music in St. Luke’s Church. Havelock North, to-morrow evening

Smocking and wool work classes under the direction of Miss Stops wore continued in tho Hnvelork North Village Hall to-day. Women’s Institute members were present from the Twyford, Waimarama and Havelock North branches, and a very interesting day was spent.
