COMPARATIVE LONDON PRICES

The lowest price received in London for frozen lamb this season was at the beginning of May, when selected North Island lamb was sold at B}d. In the last report received from London this class of lamb was being sold BJd. Between the months of May and November there has not been more than a id per lb. variation in the price. With regal’d to wether and ewe mutton the lowest price was not reached until July 14. when wether mutton was sold for 4Jd and ewe mut. ton at 2j}d. Since then the price has slowly improved and to-day’s price for the same class of wether mmutton is 53d and ewe mutton has also improved and is now being sold at 31d per lb.
