Ihubsday, Septembbb 2nd, 1880.

(Before W. H. Revell, Esq., 8.M.) BREACH OP THE LICENSING ACT. Michapl Harh'gan was charged with a breach of the Licensing Act, by selling alcoholic liquors at twenty minutes to one on the morning of the 7th August. Defendant admitted the charge. He siid that two men from Boatman's, friends of his, who were on their way home, called in, and he served them with a drink. The Magistrate said defendant had rendered himself liable to a penalty of £20. Fined, £1, and costs.
