found suspended by a rope to a tree in the bush, on his own farm at Otepopo this evening. He committed suicide yesterday : he then told bis wife that be intended to take his own life, but he had so often talked in a similar strain that his wife gave no attention to what he said. But it appears that he went to tbe top of tbe tree, having firs' fixed the rope round his neck and attached it to several branches, took tbe fatal leap and bung himself. Taubanga, March 2.
