GOLDEN FLEECE EXTENDED.
The battery was stopped six hours during the week, owing to the breakipg of one of the stamper stocking?, otherwise work in the mine and battery has progressed with wonted regularity. The men employed^in the Fleece block are making fair headway, but the country is becoming harder. The return of amalgam this week was 2620 a lOdwt from top plates, and the number of tons milled was 132 tons.
