HOMEWARD BOUND.
The prospecting which was done here* has now been discontinued, and the company have made application for the first chance of utilising the rock-borer, for the purchase of which the County Council is said to be in treaty with the General Government. Work in the adjoining claims is also at a standstill, pending the completion of arrangements for a joint low level tunnel scheme.
