NIL DESPERANDUM—
Tributors. After a stoppage of one week, eras! ■ ing was again started on Monday at the Keep-iuDark battery with 10 head on stone which promises folly an equal yield to that previously obtained, if not better. The dimensions of the lode, which was last reported at 10 feet, show" an increase, so that stone is freely forthcoming, and it is probable that after next week an additional 5-head will be re< quired. Liberal concessions have been made by the mill owners, so that this circumstance in addition to the size and quality of the reef would justify the prediction of a long and prosperous run for all concerned.
