Two or three female bodies came ashore, but were unrecognisable ; also a Chinaman. The right hand and arm of a woman also came'ashore. At the inquiry the first officer gave it as bis opinion that the vessel had not run its distance, and the course was errone* ously altered. Id his opinion a Hue could not be taken from the vessel to the shore on account of the under (drift.
