Thubsday, 19th Mat, 1881, (Before W. H. Revell, Esq., P.M.) Shaw t. M'Cannon : INo appearance. Smith and Barkley t. Coulotte : Claim of £11 JQs for goodo supplied , judg« ment by default with costs. Shaw v. "Rose : No appearance. Bate Collector y. Rogers; withdrawn. Same v. F. M'Lean j settled out of Court. Same v. R. H. Bay lisa i Claim for £1 6s 6d ; settled ont of Court. Same v. T. Wilkinson : Claim for £1 189 9d ; summons not returned. Same v- Anderson; verdict for the amonnt with costs. SCOLTOCK V, M'KINLEY. Claim for £3 16s for goods brought up by M'Kee, for which plaintiff was made responsible, and having paid the amount to M'Kee, be now sued defendant for the amount. Defendant said that he never authorised plaintiff to pay the money, nor yet ever asked him to bppome responsible therefore, and that he had made arrangements with M'Kee to wait for the money. The Court held that as no authority had been given to the plaintiff to pay the money the case would be dismissed with costs. The Court then adjourned.
