In the House of Commons yesterday, the Irish Lanjd Bill was read a second time on a division by a majority of 76 ; Pa-nell, and members of the extreme Irish party, abstained from voting. At the banquet in the Cjty yesterday evening, the Marquis of Salisbury made a speech, in the course of which he referred to the Irish Land Bill in disparaging terms, severely denouncing the Irish policy of Government. Resolutions were passed at both meet'ngs that subscription lists should be opened to indemnify projrie* tors of tbe paper, for costs of trial, which are estimated at £1200 ; £100 was promised at the Theatre Royal meeting, and over £200 at Burwood. Large meet* ings are being organised to carry out tbe resolutions passed.
