BANKRUPTCY JURISDICTION.

Re Jonathan Auld, Mr Jones moved for a final order of di-*---charge. There was no opposition, none of the creditors having attended any of the meetings. His Honor quoted the ruling recently given by Judge Gillies, in regard to tbe refusal of discharges in estates wbere there were no assets, and siid that to some extent he intended to follow that ruling, but only in cases wbere tbe creditors opposed tbe dis** charge. In the present case there was no opposition of any kind, and everything appeared to be regular, aud the discharge* would therefore be granted. Be Pbtek Abustbono: In this matter Mr Jones, on behalf of Smith and Barkley, moved for an order di« recting a distress warrant to issue against the bankrupt for the sura of £15. The bankrupt since filing had become possessed of property sufficient to satisfy the judgment. The trustee in the estate was examinee., and directed to report at the next sitting of the Court, pending which tbe order would be adjourned. Re Patbice M'lnbukky. Mr Lynoh ou behalf of the bankrupt" moved for a final order of discharge. He said tbe creditors had refused the final ordei*, but no notice of opposition bad been given. Order granted. Bowman as Liquidator.On the application of Mr Collings who represented the contributorie?, tb/s matter was adjourned till next sitting of tbe Court. Tbe Conrt then adjoureed.
