GREY VALLEY ELECTION.
— ♦ [To the Editor of the Time^.J Sir, — Having with the greatest surprise and indignation noticed that our names have bpen made use of falsly as supporters of Mr FitzGerald, in the present contest. c, we the undersigned, distinctly repndiate any connection with the the committee, whose names appear at the bottom of an untruthful circular emanating from the Herald office, and distributed in this part of the electorate. Some of ns have already, in public print, emphatically protested against the unwarranted liberty some one lisd taken to include and print our names, without the gligh'est authority, Bmong those who seek return of Mr FitzGsrald, well knowing at the time that we were supporters of Mr Weston, However, as we in 1 end to bring the perpetrator of the fraud before a proper tribunal, we only now wish to draw the attention of honpst men to the mean practice, adopted. — We remrii,&c, H. T7. BUDGE J. DICK F. BOAEDM4N T T. BATCHELOU THOS. PLASKETT. Eeefton, 13feh June, 1881.
