Thomas Lee, for tti« Brut as Company, applied for leaye to have the survey of the lease altered so as to take in ground required by the company. Mr Montgomerie on being called stated that the survey had been executed in ac* cordance with the original instructions, but that the company bad afterwards altered their original 1 peg's, but lhaif on payment of the ordinary fees a fiesh sup vey could bejftade. Application adjourned for fresh surrey. J. B. Beeche applied for a water-race at Boatman's.— Granted. Ah Lang applied for a head-race in Maori Gully.— Granted. f George Fairburn, tail-race, Crtrshirigi ton. No appearance. J. Rogers applied for tail-race at Blackwater ; granted. (jeorge Jones applied for tail-race at Lankey's Creek: Maurice Pore applied for protection of claim at Merrijigs ; granted.
