Don Carlos, the well-known claimant of the Throne of Spain, who has been residing in France since the termination of the Spanish civil war, has been sc« cu<ed by the French Government of Intriguing with the Legitimist party. He was arrested to-day and conducted to the frontier, and forbidden to re enter the country. Calcutta, July 18. Ayoub Khan has left his camp at Ferrah, and crossed the frontier into Indian territory. He is now at Hyderabade in the Province of Scinde. His motive for acting thus has not yet transpired. London, July 18. The agitation in fa?or of the Irish tenants, which was recently manifest among the Irish laboring classes in Eng* land, is now showing signs of revival. [Special to Melbourne Age] London, July 5. An outrage hae r«nnrred in the town of Callan, County Kilkenny, the process server, was seized, and left bound, gagged, and bis borse maimed. Notwithstanding their recent defeat, the Albanians are giving great trouble to tbe Turkish Government, though leading chiefs of the league, were arrested. Dervisch Pasha continues hostile, and tbe Porte has had to send reinforcements into Albanian territory. July 8 A Socialist movement has been discovered at Vienna by the police, who have arrested eight of its leading mem> ber°. Serious riots have broken out among tbe wharf laborers in Montical. They were suppressed by tbe police with con« siderable difficulty, and not until they had made use of their firearms' to dispel the rioters. The construction of the Panama Canal has not been making much progress lately, as an outbreak of fever and quarrels with the laborers have considerably impeded operations. Emigration trom Europe to America is assuming la.ger proportion than ever. On Thursday no fewer than 2451 per* sons landed at New York. A seriou3 fire has occurred at C:.nncinnitti, State of Ohio, causing great destruction, and throwing thousands out of employment. The personal property of the late Earl of Beaconsfield. has been sworn under £77,000.
