AT an adjourned special meeting of the Council held at the Council Chambers, Keefton August Ist, 1881, it was resolved on tbe motion of Councillor Williams, seconded by Councillor Trennery— That the Council doth by ibis iesolutum make and levy a separate rate of three pence in the pound on the annual value of all rateable property as appearing in the valuation roll for the time being in force within that portion of the Siding of Eeefron as defined by the following boundaries, viz— On the north by the right-of-way between Shiel-street and Church street ; on tbe south by tbe Inangahua river; on tbs east hj Donovan-street and on the west by Hampden road ; and the said rate is hereby made : That it be for a period of one year commencing on the Ist day of September, 1881 ; and that it be pajable in one satn on the 7th day of September. 1881. and this resolution is hereby declared to be a special order of the said Council.
