LICENSING COURT.
« Thub-dat, 11th August, 1831. (Before Mr W. H. Revell, Chairman, and Messrs Bowman and Breunan, Commissioners.) Reuben Waite was called, and on being askeß if he had complied with the order made at the last Licensing Court when a renewal of his license was granted on conditions that he would transfer his house to some person who would conduct it properly, stated that he had not done so, as he underftood that s^me petitions had been cir* eulated lor signature, and handed in, praying the Court to reconsider their decision, and said he hoped the Court would take the petition and liis case into favorable consideration. The Court ordered the cancellation of his license. William Cocbrane made application to extend the time for closing bis house till 12 o'clock ; granted. The Court then adjourned.
