Sonfflg time was lost in starting the crushing at the beginning of the month, so that only 160 tons were crushed at the time of cleaning up yesterday; 132sz lOJwt of retorted gold was brought to the bank to-day as the result of the crushing ; some sixty tons remains in tbe paddock so that a start can again be made on Monday.
