RAINY CREEK.
Mr Graham, the proprietor of this property, has been lately engaged in cleaning out, repairing, and re-timbering the shaft, which was sunk some years ago a depth of about 100 feet. A portion of the ground, traversed by tbe tunnel leading up to the bottom of the shaft, was found of better quality than any other atone since raised and 1 tested, and it is the intention to give the ground a fair trial, whioh it is confidently hoped wili result satisfactorily.
