THE LYELL.

(From the Lyell Times.) CECE3US. Thubsday, November 24. The reef has been driven on for a distanct of 28 feet past the crosscut. Latterly it ha< pinched somewhat, but this may be accounted for from the driving now being in the break of a spur. When this is passed the lode will no doubt widen out to its usual proportions. The surface works are being pushed ahead, the contractors for construction of shoot having already a good face on their work.
