MURRAY'S CEMENT COMPANY—

Lankey Gully. A meeting of shareholders in the Murray Creek Cement Gold Mining Company was held last week at Mr Brennan's office, when it was decided to take immediate steps to register the company under the above title, with Mr G. C. Bowman as legal manager. Messrs Byrne, Brennan, Beeche, and Murray, of Reefton, with Mr Haworth of Dunedin, were elected directors. Arrangements have been concluded to crush 2000 tons at the Energetic battery at a very reasonable and satisfactory charge per ton, so that results will be arrived at without much delay. A splendid sample of specimens taken from the company's leasehold are to be seen at Mr Bowman's office, which contains a very great percentage of coarse gold.
