Ivess' petition against the election of Wason, for the Wakanui electorate has been upheld, "the deputy Returning Officer having refused qualified peisons to vote ; both stand again. Auckland, February 23. Bryce was entertained by Biwi at Kihikhi yesterday and had a satis-e tactory, interview re placing Nativ Lands in the Land Court. The Lyttleton election petition was decided to-day, Allwright retaining his seat.
