Thursday, March 9th, 1882.
(Before Mr Warden Revell.) Applications made by the Keep-it-Dark Company, Mark M'Gregor and party, George Anderson, and Ten Shun, were dismissed, owing to there being no appearance of the parties. A waterright asked for by Gerald Perotti was refused, owing to the regulations not having been complied with. The right of a tail-race, 15 chains ih length, at Deep Creek was granted to J. E. Wearne. Applications by the Inkerman Company were adjourned for survey. A right for a tail-race at Rainy Creek was granted to Hugh Graham, and protection was granted to Charles Clifford for a hut at Cable's Creek. A double area claim was refused to John Birch in Redman's Gully. J. Kilgour applied for a tail-race 25 chains in length on the east side of Boatman's Creek, to carry off tailings from the Welcome Company. The application was opposed by Mr Lynch, but eventually granted. The Court was then adjourned till this day,
