RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Thursday, March 9th, 1882. (Before W. H. Revell, Esq., R.M.) MALICIOUS INJURY TO PROPERTY. William Brown was charged with having on the 29th August last, cut adrift a punt at the Inangahua Landing, causing damage to the extent of more than £5. Mr Lynch appeared for the accused. Sergeant Neville applied for a remand till the next (this) day, which was granted. Silas Gibson, who was also charged with the same offence in company with Brown, was similarly dealt with.
