.» (from our own correspondents.) Auckland, March 16. Two attempts were made last night to burn the .National Hotel at Cambridge. Daniel Hanaghan, fanner, mangled his arm in thrashing machine, and the injuries are likely to prove fatal. North Franklyn election has been declared void by Electoral Court, in consequence of intimidation practised by a man named Hathaway. Ashburton, March 16. Saunders refusing to release Wason from his promise of support, the latter will support the former in the Wakanui election.
