RAINY CREEK EXTENDED. Tlie Rainy Creek Gold Mining Extended Company have effected great repairs and improvements in their plant, and on the arrival of ten new disss from (ireymouth will at onoe commence crushing. The whole of the machinery has been overhauled, and during the Bame time the mine has been opened up, and there are fifty tons in the paddock ready for crushing. Tlie reef ia twenty feet wide, and can be readily worked by very few men. With their fifteen head of GOOlbs. stampers, a large amount of stone can be got through, and the company may with certainty calculate on good returns. The boiler has been repaired and roofed over, the boxes relined, and altogether the plant is now in splendid condition for work.
