[From oun Mining Reporter.] Saturday, April 8. The most noteworthy incidents of the week are the more than splendid returns to hand to-day from the Welcome and Keep-it-Dark mines respectively, that from the former being unprecedented in the history of the field, while the latter is sufficiently good to warrant it in being regarded as exceptional, particularly so in view ofthe enormous bulk of stone now available on the present working level. The gratifying intelligence is also to hand that the character of the stone now showing in the Golden Treasure mine gives the very highest promise. These facts taken together augur well for the future of the field. The yields for the past week show up remarkably well. The following are the Battery Returns for the past week : — The Welcome. — 1302 ozs. of amalgam, from 90 tons of stone. Golden Fleece Extended. — 1670zs of retorted gold from 156 tons of stone, Just-an-Time. — 168 <ozs. 15 dwt of gold from 159 tons of stone. Keep-it-Dark. — 424 ozs. 11 dwts. of amalgam, from 209 tons of stone,
