Rotorua, fell down the hold yesterday and died from the injuries received shortly afterwards. | Tawhaiohas completed all arrangements for the native meeting. Christchubch, April 22. Five burglaries were committed last night, in as many shops, and £120 worth of goods stolen. Wellington, April 22. Ihe following Ministers were sworn in yesterday, Hon. R Whitaker, Premidr and Attorney-General ; the Hon. Major Atkinson, Colonial Treasurer; Hon. W. Rolleston, Minister of Lands, Immigration, and Mines; Hon. Jno. Bryce, Native Af&irs; Hon, T. Dick, Colonial Secretary, Minister of Justice and Education; the Hon. Walter Johnston, Public Works, and Postmaster General and Commissioner of Telegraphs. The Members of the New Ministry met to-day and made various arrangements with reference to the work of the coming session. It has been rumored that the Premier has only accepted that position till the House meets, but the rumor has been contradicted to-day in very positive terms. It is understood that the Hon. B. Oliver, who is at present absent from Wellington, will as before be member of the Executive i without portfolio.
