FIERY CROSS.
The manager is making great improvements atthe brace, covering it with a roof, which has been wanted some time. This will facilitate the working of the brake, when the mine again becomes stone-producing. Operations below are driving south, upon what appears to be the line of reef. It is the intention of the directors to drive north to intersect the winze now down in the northern workings of the claim.
