UNITED VICTORY.

The rise and winze are expected to be connected next week, the winze having been baled out and sinking commenced in order to meet the rise. Only a few feet now remain to be driven. The reef has been rather smaller than usual in the rise, during the latter part of the winze it is of large proportions, and in both places the show of gold is excellent. No. 2 level is still being driven south along the reef which carrtes the usual show of gold, and remains of good width.
