SOUTH BRITISH.
The Directors visited the claim on Wednesday, and tixed upon site for tunnel, which will commence at a point about 100 feet below the United Alpine Company's No. 6 level, the course being about S.VV. It is expected that the United Alpine line of reef will be intersected at about 200 feet. A body of stone will be followed in with the driving. The progress of this company's operations will be watched with much interest, as the situation of the lease is veiy highly thought of.
